transurethral resection of the prostate A surgical procedure to treat benign prosta-tic hyperplasia (BPH) in which excess tissue is removed from the prostate gland to allow urine to flow more easily through the urethra.

tremor Involuntary, rhythmic muscle movement, most commonly in the hands, feet, jaw, tongue, or head, caused by alternating contraction and relaxation of the muscles.

trichomoniasis A sexually transmitted disease (STD) that usually occurs in both men and women but usually does not cause symptoms in men. If symptoms occur, they may include a discharge from the penis and painful or frequent urination, especially in the morning.
